Island Boy Music Partners Announces Remastered Kevin I. Album Release on CD in Japan via Cool Sound Label
[San Francisco, May 11, 2023] – Island Boy Music Partners is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of 80’s artist, Kevin I.’s album on CD format in Japan. The album is set to be launched on June 27, 2023, through a partnership with the prestigious independent Japan label, Cool Sound.
The album was originally released in 1981 on vinyl and contains the hit single “Fairy Tale”. The remastered CD edition will contain three bonus tracks from Kevin I.’s final album released in 1984, New Dimensions that was produced by Bob Wilson, leader of the critically acclaimed band, Seawind. The three bonus tracks will include rock ballad-oriented songs “True Love” and “A Love Song for You” and “Hold Me Thru Tomorrow” a pop style duet with Charlene, who had a global hit song, “I’ve Never Been To Me”.
The collaboration with Cool Sound, a renowned and esteemed independent label in the Japan music industry, marks an exciting milestone for Kevin I. Cool Sound is known for their dedication to promoting exceptional talent and their commitment to the musical artists from the 70’s-80’s-90’s.
